The Passing of a Member

Dear Bravo Fleet,

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Debra Mosqueda, also known as Colonel Aletle Strom, Commanding Officer, Tau Lyrae. Debra passed due to complications with multiple sclerosis, which blinded her for the past 13 years. She was a brilliant actress and a phenomenal writer, leaving behind four children and countless other friends and family.

Her crew says that she was the life force of Tau Lyrae, leading over 12 stories that defined Tau Lyrae’s legacy. The game was one of the only respites she had from her real-world troubles; her work touched the lives of many writers in our community and earned her over four Player of the Month citations.

I am honored to present Debra with the Cross for Distinguished Service. Although her true contributions to the world may never be known to us, we recognize and appreciate everything she accomplished in Bravo Fleet.

Our hearts go out to her family and friends as they mourn her loss. We will always remember her name and her contributions to our community.
