Who We Are:

The USS Pandora is a newly refurbished, top of the line Luna Class deep-space exploration vessel. We are an established, very active simulation looking for creative writers. We operate as part of the 72nd Task Force in the year 2389. The ship is captained by Captain Temple. We are seeking bold explorers, curious scientists, brave warriors, and dependable officers for an exciting deep-space mission into unchartered and dangerous territory. The Pandora welcomes all willing and passionate writers to join our growing community and contribute to our unique stories. Whether you’re an old hand or fresh newbie, we’ll have a place for you here.

Where We’re Going:

We are flying into the changing, lawless, often chaotic region known as the Inconnu Expanse. This region is surrounded by violent gravitational storms, and our unfriendly neighbours are super powers like the Breen, Ferengi, Tzenkethi Coalition, and rogue Cardassians, – in addition to being raided by devilish Ravengers. There are so many storyline possibilities here as we mix Next Generation style exploration and discovery, with all the dangers of Voyager‘s tense journey through hostile territory. We’ll be helping to fight the good fight, improve the Federation’s presence in the region, and investigate the intense spacial phenomena that envelopes us. As a member of this crew, you are the audience, the writers, and the history-makers of the new USS Pandora. Every Player onboard this ship can contribute to our missions, plot discussions, personal stories, and the legacy of this fine vessel.

Who We Need:

Many positions are still open but don’t wait too long to come onboard. We still require:

  • Chief Operations Officer
  • Chief Medical Officer
  • Marine Commanding Officer
  • Chief Morale Officer

We also have many Assistant Chief and Departmental positions open. We especially are looking for:

  • Scientists
  • Operations
  • Medical
  • Diplomats
  • Security
  • Marines

We want people who love to write about Trek; who want to write that classic exploration of Next Gen and all the action of Voyager; and those who want to immerse themselves in the character and setting. Even if you’re new to Trek and Trek Simming, this is the perfect place to start as we’re also a new sim but with plenty of experience in our senior players to help you through, show you the ropes, and help you get acquainted.

All you need is a passion for writing and the thrill of adventure.

Captain Temple
Commanding Officer and Commanding Officer

Nyx is a tall, broad man with piercing grey eyes, and a grizzly but short beard. He sports a small scar just south of his left eyelid.

He is physically fit and keeps to a regimented routine of diet and exercise. He is quick on his feet and even faster with his fists. During Intelligence Recruit training, he was nicknamed "The Grey", both for his light eyes and lethal dexterity.

With his black shoulder-length hair, usually worn pulled tightly at the back and shaven on both sides, he gives the impression of a rugged and no-nonsense man. However, those who know him will recognise that twinkle in his light eyes as a sign of the cheeky, daring man that he really is.

Out of uniform, he wears a black, militaristic jacket with silver lapels and ceremonial chain across the front. This was an

Commander Owen Nash
Executive Officer

Lieutenant Commander Owen Nash is currently the Chief of Operations and Executive Officer on board the USS Pandora, exploring the Inconnu Expanse.

When Owen joined Starfleet he served on board the USS Maiden, his fathers ship, in the Beta Quadrant before moving on to serve on board several Luna Class Starships that were assigned to explore the Gamma Quadrant after the end of the Dominion War to see how things had progressed in what is seen as a more peaceful region of space. Owen worked in both the Operations and Engineering Divisions.

After returning the Beta Quadrant to serve on the USS Adelaide as the Chief of Operations, Owen was re-assigned to Earth to help work as apart of a Think tank to iron out any issues that had arisen with new Luna Class Starships in service in recent years.

Lieutenant Cailus Griffin
Chief Security/Tactical Officer

Cailus is a man from another time, someone who has suffered an extraordinary loss, although few would guess such upon meeting him. On the job he is a cold, professional man, dedicated wholly to the safety of his shipmates and the Federation in general. In actuality Cailus was born in 2264 and served in Starfleet throughout the 2290s. An attack left him stranded in an escape pod, forced into deep cryostasis for eighty seven years before finally being rescued and returned to the Federation...but with his wife and daughter, as well as everyone he had ever known, now long dead. He is a hardened, broken man, yet despite everything he has lost, he now stands ready to defend his new home, the USS Pandora, with all his strength.

Lieutenant Shae Brennan
Chief Science Officer

Shae is petite and willowy with a pale complexion and waist length white hair and blue eyes. She is mostly humanoid in shape, though instead of human feet, she has vulpine paws covered in white fur. Her ears are also vulpine in shape and she has a long bushy tail. Since El Aurians age slowly, she appears to be about 20 years old. She was raised among the Irish and as such has a distinct accent. Shae is most often quiet and reserved, willing to watch events unfold and then react. She’s a damaged individual; years of mistreatment and being held back has taken its toll on her confidence, so she's often afraid to speak to others. Though a constant observer, when she does interact with others she is warm and soft-spoken, truly a gentle soul who only wishes to see the best in others.

Lieutenant Junior Grade Fick
Chief Flight Control Officer

Ensign Vecon Fick is currently serving aboard the USS Pandora as their Chief Flight Control Officer.

Fick is gregarious and fun loving, but also serious and stubborn. He enjoys time outside and time alone, but he can also be a social butterfly. He is not without his share of flaws. He struggles constantly between the characteristics and traditions of both of his parents’ races. The Risian side is more fun-loving and peaceful, while the Bajoran side is stubborn and dedicated to a flaw. Fick can become so focused with something that he can get angry and annoyed when disturbed, making him a tad bit insubordinate at times.

Fick is clever, quick witted and not afraid to stand up for what he believes. He doesn’t believe that he’s in any way perfect and is willing to admit flaws and mistakes,

He joined Starfleet and serves as a diplomatic officer aboard the USS Pandora.
