USS Kumari

The Milky Way Galaxy is an ever changing place. In the last twenty years alone, the United Federation of Planets has had to contend with an invasion from the Borg, wars with the Cardassian Union, Klingon Empire and the Dominion. And more recently, the loss of Romulus and Remus, has changed the political landscape throughout the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. While the Federation has always done its best to keep the peace, they are struggling in doing so with the Romulan Star Empire being so vulnerable right now. It doesn’t help that the Klingons are more than eager to push the boundaries of their friendship with Starfleet in order to try and expand their territory.

In such dire times, it falls upon each and every member of Starfleet to help preserve the fragile peace. Not all of its forces lay out in the open though. There are always matters that require a more delicate touch. One of finesse. Since the end of the Dominion War, Starfleet Intelligence has been pouring many of its resources into rebuilding and recruitment. With both the Tal Shiar and the Obsidian Order just shades of their former selves, it became imperative for the intelligence branch of Starfleet to stand out and be the elite information gatherers that the quadrant needed.

As one might expect with the work that needed to be done under this new mandate, Starfleet Intelligence put more operatives and starships into service. One such vessel was the new Luna Class, U.S.S. Kumari.

Under the command of Captain Jack Colburn, the Kumari and its crew, operate in the shadows, doing what needs to be done for the safety and security of every man, woman and child.

Commander Maddie Crowe
Executive Officer

Madison is friendly, open, and at times blunt. She doesn’t like to ‘beat around the bush’ so to speak, preferring to tell it like it is. Though she tries to be nice about her disagreement. She doesn’t like people who lie and has a general distrust of intelligence officers, knowing they lie as part of their jobs, and because of her now deceased ex-husband.

Lieutenant Leila Devereaux
Chief Intelligence Officer

"Miss Devereaux? She is calm, tactful and tries to approach the problem from different angles. Quite a talent that you don't see many times out there. She is quite big for the most women I known, around 1.79 meters tall and about 71 kg? I mean I am not going to ask her weight you know. She has blond hairs and beautiful eyes, but she can be temper and very direct. If you got her on your staff, she is a worthy addition that is for sure!" ~Commander S'Maow - Executive Officer (USS Halifax)

Lieutenant Commander Zayna Ryler
Chief Science Officer

Born to two uptight Starfleet officers, Zay was looked down upon as her older brother was fawned over. A family friend took her under his wing. She is a Starfleet Science officer having earned the rank of Lieutenant Commander. She ended a long term engagement the same day she heard about her posting on the Kumari...though has the marks to show it.
