USS Kumari

The Milky Way Galaxy is an ever changing place. In the last twenty years alone, the United Federation of Planets has had to contend with an invasion from the Borg, wars with the Cardassian Union, Klingon Empire and the Dominion. And more recently, the loss of Romulus and Remus, has changed the political landscape throughout the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. While the Federation has always done its best to keep the peace, they are struggling in doing so with the Romulan Star Empire being so vulnerable right now. It doesn’t help that the Klingons are more than eager to push the boundaries of their friendship with Starfleet in order to try and expand their territory.

In such dire times, it falls upon each and every member of Starfleet to help preserve the fragile peace. Not all of its forces lay out in the open though. There are always matters that require a more delicate touch. One of finesse. Since the end of the Dominion War, Starfleet Intelligence has been pouring many of its resources into rebuilding and recruitment. With both the Tal Shiar and the Obsidian Order just shades of their former selves, it became imperative for the intelligence branch of Starfleet to stand out and be the elite information gatherers that the quadrant needed.

As one might expect with the work that needed to be done under this new mandate, Starfleet Intelligence put more operatives and starships into service. One such vessel was the retrofitted Saber-class starship, U.S.S. Kumari. Although to some the Kumari might be considered a ‘small ship’, its upgraded rapid fire phaser cannons, quantum torpedo launchers and ablative hull armour demonstrate that it shouldn’t be overlooked and that it can be a force to be reckoned with. Under the command of Captain Jack Colburn, the Kumari and its crew, operate in the shadows, doing what needs to be done for the safety and security of every man, woman and child.

Lieutenant Commander T'Rhe
Executive Officer

T'Rhe's appearance, even though she is a hybrid, is unusual. While possessing the skin coloration of her mother's people--Vulcans, she has the distinctive
neck ridges and hair of her Cardassian parent. She is also tall at just over 1.9 meters in height. She keeps herself in prime physical condition, so can
come across as highly intimidating at first glance. She joined Starfleet during the Dominion War, and has risen to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and Executive Officer of the USS Kumari, only recently.

Lieutenant Leticia Sanchez
Assistant Chief Intelligence Officer

Letty was previously assigned as a Security/Tactical Specialist at SFI Delphi. While there, during a freak accident where the crew relived the same day over and over, Letty had a psychotic breakdown at the hands of the team's Psychology and Psionics Specialist, LT Karna Zsan, after she started remembering the loops.

It was decided a transfer was best for her and Letty found herself on a ship once again, this time the Kumari.
