Physical Description: Kila Thysev M.D. is a short Andorian of slight build.  When on duty she keeps her hair up in a ponytail, but will put it down the moment she is no longer on duty.  She is rarely seen without her lab coat, to the point that medical staff at her last posting joked that it was physically attached.  When off duty Kila prefers to wear dresses and skirts.

 

General Overview: Kila is a bubbly and warm girl next door who is equally at home in her lab as she is in a social gathering.  While she may appear naive to those around her she is considered to be one of the most talented geneticists in her field.  

Strengths & Weaknesses: Kila Thysev M.D. is a talented doctor with a glowing bed side manner.  She takes her Hippocratic Oath so serious that she is unwilling to take a life of an enemy.  This and her inexperience in field work makes her unsure in dangerous situations.


Ambitions: Kila wishes to be the best doctor she can be and to find cures for the most serious genetic disorders across the galaxy.


Hobbies & Interests: Due to her training as a dancer during her childhood, she has an undying love for the art.  She loves to reenact historic ballets in the holodeck and show off her dance skills on any occasion.

Personal History: Kila Thysev M.D. was born in 2358 on Andoria to parents Eykas and Cavyh.  Almost from the moment she could walk she was enrolled in dance classes, with her parents envisioning her joining the United Federation of Planets Interplanetary Ballet.  She would work most of her life to achieve this goal until she graduated from secondary school.  That’s when she would surprise her parents with the fact that she had applied, and been accepted, to the Vulcan Science Academy with the goal of becoming a doctor.  Even though they were surprised, they supported their youngest child’s choice and encouraged her chase her dreams.  While she felt out of place at the prestigious academy, she excelled and earned degrees in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Genetics.  Upon graduation she decided to continue her education at Starfleet Academy.  She would attend classes during the day while working in the infirmary at night.  Her first post after graduation would be as a geneticist Roosevelt Station.
